Come Aboard…LAUNCH CAREERS

With Marine Trades Institute’s 100% placement rate of its graduates over the past six years, we’re addressing the most critical need in the marine industry: a dire qualified workforce shortage. Currently, Marine Trades Institute has an annual graduation capacity of 24 students, the industry is demanding more.

This industry demand is the impetus behind the “Come Aboard, Launch Careers” campaign to fund a 10,000 square foot marine skilled trades training facility with contemporary equipment and technology to train more qualified marine professionals. A successful campaign will fund instructional infrastructure enabling Marine Trades Institute to double the annual graduation class to 50 or more students!

Not only will a successful campaign address current and emerging needs in the marine industry but the rippling economic effect will originate from the Eastern U.P., reverberating throughout Michigan, the Great Lakes Region and beyond.
